BREATHING Exhale forcefully, pushing your belly button toward your back. Let your belly relax and you should inhale
without effort. Let the belly fill without the shoulders lifting, then fill your chest and back. Breathe more slowly,
consciously, a hundred (out of 10k) breaths a day. Practice at stop lights, waiting or before sleep.
SEE YOURSELF WELL Imagine what you would do, how you would act. Do not allow your illness to define your life and
dreams. Write 100 things you want to do.
WATER Drink until you urinate every two hours. End your hot shower with a brief cold spray to push the blood inward.
Hot relaxes muscles and cold relieves pain.
FOOD Seek out wonderful food that just happens to be healthy. Challenge yourself to break your food habits. Variety
and color. Do not deprive yourself. Chew thoroughly.
SLEEP Keep a routine. Sleep before midnight. Sleep in one and a half hour segments (the normal REM cycle) to awake
more rested. Sleep is not optional.
Noise Cancellation Headphones
GUT FEELINGS If you listen to your gut, you can avoid a great deal of pain. Unhealthy cravings are those that make
you feel worse after you eat them. If in pain, replace your gut bugs with probiotics (yogurt, miso, sauerkraut). Use with
antibiotics.
LIVER Give your liver a break. Avoid carcinogens, alcohol, and environmental toxins. Eat dark leafy greens and cultivate
a taste for more bitter foods that move bile. Don't stuff your emotions, as the chemicals of anger and fear make the liver
work harder.
SKIN The skin is our largest organ. Brush it lightly towards the heart every day to stimulate your lymph system and
help it drain. Watch it for signs of imbalance inside.
FINANCIAL Spend time brainstorming how best to meet your needs. Beyond the essential, spend your time thinking of
other things. Serve people and use money. I recommend Overcoming Underearning to deal with internal tapes for/against
money.
